The Critical Care Medicine Department deals with the sickest patients of the hospital who requires close monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced support for organ failure.

The Department of Critical Care Medicine at Asgar Ali Hospital is managed by highly qualified and experienced critical care doctors, specialized nurses and highly trained respiratory therapists.

The Department of Critical Care Medicine at Asgar Ali Hospital is staffed with highly qualified and experienced consultants, specialists and equipped with state of the art equipments. It offers world class one stop service to provide care for medical, surgical, perioperative, trauma and cardiac patients and acts as a referral centre for complicated cases.

The multidisciplinary team includes critical care physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, physical therapists, speech therapists and other health staff. Supported by the latest medical technology and equipments, our coordinated critical care team work closely with other specialists in a timely manner to ensure the best possible care for the patients ensuring a comprehensive approach to individual patient. When needed, the care is also extended beyond the walls of ICU/HDU.
