Blood Bank
Blood Bank of Asgar Ali Hospital caters to both in-patients and out-patients. We receive blood from healthy donors following a thorough history and physical examination, blood grouping and Rh typing by modern Gel Card System and a stringent screening process following both WHO (World Health Organization) and AABB (Association of American Blood Banks) Guidelines, so that no infection can be transmitted from the donated blood unit to the recipient. This goes a long way in supporting the lives of patients who need blood urgently.
